The Path of our Life
by Ann Robinson-Worley
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11 The Word of God tells us that in the midst of all the chaos, dangers, and craziness going on all around us we can choose to live each day in anger, fear and depression or the fullness of joy which can only be found in His presence. Life is tough enough so why allow the enemy to weaken our faith by trying to burden us down with spirit of heaviness?
The Spirit of the Lord is working to console us who mourn in Zion, to give us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that we may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. Isaiah 61:3 We are to rejoice in the Lord. “But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.” Psalm 5:11
We can come into the presence of the Lord anytime and receive what we have need of. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 We can receive his strength and joy each and every day one day at a time. If you are born again everything you need is on the inside of you. The joy of the Lord is your strength! But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24 The key is what are we focusing on and who are we listening to ? How much time are we spending in His presence and His Word in Worship and Praise? I want to hear the Lord saying to me in the end Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. Matthew 25:23
